So... we're now supposed to rate your posts? That is fantastic!

Yeah I saw it on another blog, and I liked it, this way people don't even have to leave a comment if they don't want to, but I still get valuable feedback. Of course... as always I still really like comments.

Also I may take suggestions on ratings (titles).

I'm glad we're getting together tomorrow. I feel like it's been forever since I've seen you guys! I'm sad that our friend is leaving us, though. See you tomorrow!

It was fun. Thanks, everyone!

It was a lot of fun! I'm glad we did it.

If you guys aren't too busy the week after Christmas, let's play games or something. I think I'm going to be bored stiff. :)

Why do we have to check back for what you learned in Sunday School? Is it because it's a new year and you're not sure what you've learned so far in the Doctrine and Covenants? Is it because you haven't been attending Sunday School at all, so you have nothing to write in that section? Is it because there is so much you have learned, that you're trying to figure out what would be the best thing to write there or how to summarize it all effectively? Hmmm...

Well, funny you should ask, I was thinking about removing that part from the blog, but I didn't want to really get rid of it, but I haven't had the time to write there either, so I left it in limbo, in the 'check back' or 'maybe coming soon' stage.
If I get caught up it might get caught up too.
and no it's not because I'm skipping sunday school.
I haven't had a reason to do that in a long time. Ü

I'm glad that the word of the whatever is portmanteau. Now I know the word to use when I want to complain about the proliferation of portmanteaus in our current society. It seems like right and left people start creating new portmanteaus to describe what they mean. I guess I disliked it when I first noticed its proliferation, then I accepted it, and now I'm bad to disliking it. There. I've said my piece.

Cardine, are there certain portmanteaus (is that the plural form?) that you dislike? I mean, can you give us examples of which ones bug you?

Cardine said...

For example: frenemy or huggles. Or ginormous, even though I use that one sometimes.

Interesting Cardine. I kind of enjoy frenemy (never use it though), more because I think its funny. What is huggles?

Warnser, I wondered how you made this random comments area? Would you mind sharing?

Hey, Warnser, a quick question: can you take a VHS movie and turn it into a DVD? If so, how much would you charge? I have a friend who mentioned that he has some VHS tapes he'd like to convert to DVDs. I thought of you. :)

warnser said...

yes I can do it.
I try to avoid commercial tapes,
(both for copyright and technological reasons) but it's basically 15 per transfer.

julie said...

I think the movies he wants to turn into DVDs are commercial movies.

I've noticed that it's been awhile since the UNWoftheW and the Cool Word of the Week were updated. It's a pity. I've always enjoyed them.
